I am pleased to advise that BILLEE MUTTON is taking over most of the
Ashford side of my business.
Sheena's Spin 'n' Wool will be CLOSED from Monday 6 September 2010 due to
stocking taking and relocation of products, and will reopen on Saturday 11
September 2010. Any orders received during this time will be attended
to by Billee or myself as appropriate when we have re-opened.
Billee's new business is called "Unwind". Her shop at 25 Bodmin
Terrace, Camborne, Porirua 5026, will open on 13 September 2010.
Hours 1-3 pm, 3.30-5.30 pm. Other times by arrangement - phone 04 233
2045, mobile 021 176 1725.
My business name will change to: Sheena's Socks 'n' Wool. I
will carry on with Opal and other sock yarns, all Ashford yarns, including
their fine weaving yarns, exotic yarns from Yarn Traders, various fancy
Naturally yarns, Rare Yarns (Merino/Alpaca) and miscellaneous other yarns.
I will still be stocking wooden knitting needles, crochet hooks and
Tunisian hooks. Bamboo and Addi Pro circular knitting needles
including Addi Pro lace circulars). Once I've mastered the circular
sock knitting machine, I will have made-up socks for sale.
For the time being, I will still have Charlotte Buch's Danish needlefelt
(pre-felt similar to Felbi Batts from Australia), polystyrene hat blocks
and shoe lasts for felting.

CLOSED: Sat 4 Sept (Wairarapa Spin In). Also closed next week
6-10 Sept for stocktaking etc.

LOCATION: Pukerua Bay is 19k South of Paraparaumu (5 mins south of
Paekakariki). 12k North of Porirua and 30k North of Wellington
Railway Station.
TRAVELLING SOUTH: First left past railway bridge at the top of the
hill.
GOING NORTH: Turn right, just past big Pukerua Bay 50 signs, and
before the bridge (there is a turn right lane).
House has a blue roof, and hedge on the right.
HOMESTAY/B&B unavailable at present. In 2011 I may do live-in (or out)
"Learn a Woolcraft" workshops.
